The ‘Kniphofia Poco Collection’ may be short, but do not be deceived as they boast all the marvellous attributes of their larger cousins and a few new ones as well. Sumptuously bright flowerheads are produced in abundance, for much longer than previous Kniphofia, giving you incredible colour in your borders and containers from June to the first frosts. The upright clump of grass-like, deer-resistant foliage sways gently in the breeze and stays erect without flopping. Florists will delight to see the abundance of torch-like blooms, which add a long-lasting and unusual zip of bright colour to indoor floral arrangements. This collection comprises; ‘Orange’, ‘Red’ and ‘Sunset’.Kniphofia ‘Poco’ are not fussy on soil conditions if they are planted in a sunny position, where they will grow to around 50cm tall, spreading to between 30-40cm. Hardy to around -10°C, RHS rating H4, extra winter protection should not be required across most of the UK.
