Garden Inspiration
Tell Me More...
A new addition to the geum family - Geum 'Orange Pumpkin' is about as hot and vibrant as orange can get! Compact, flamboyant, and highly floriferous - geums are the jewel in any garden and, currently, a trend-setting inclusion to your planting. You will frequently see them making appearances in designer RHS show gardens. We are pretty sure that this new, exciting variety will be one of those showstoppers. Flowers emerge as small pom-poms which mature into fabulous, flaming torches - like two blooms on one plant. Perfect for bouquets or vases as well as an ideal way to elevate containers and borders. Several blooms are held high on each wiry stem above pretty mounds of attractive, weed-suppressing foliage. Beneficially slug, deer and rabbit resistant for those of you to whom this can be an issue, and much loved by our pollinating friends.Geum 'Orange Pumpkin' is an easy-going plant which prefers moist, well-drained soil in sun or part shade. Growing to an approximate height and spread of 30cm, plants are fully hardy perennials for you to enjoy for years to come without the need for any winter protection.
