Tell Me More...
Ruffled peach-pink petals, gather around a yellow centre like a frilly skirt, Geum 'Pink Petticoats' is aptly named. Compact, flamboyant, and highly floriferous - the jewel in any garden - Geums are becoming highly fashionable and trendy. Several large blooms are held high on each wiry stem above pretty mounds of lush, attractive, weed-suppressing, semi-evergreen foliage, for up to six months each year from April to September. The flowers are also good for cutting and grow happily in borders and containers. Geums are slug, deer and rabbit resistant, so you can grow without the worry they will be eaten. Much loved by our pollinating friends, the bees will come buzzing to your garden.Incredibly easy to grow Geum 'Pink Petticoats' prefers moist, well-drained soil in part shade but will easily cope with a sunny spot. Growing to an approximate height and spread of 30cm, she has an RHS hardiness rating of H7, down to -20 C, for you to enjoy for years to come without the need for any winter protection.
