Tell Me More...
Purple-brown flushed green foliage creates wonderful cushions of weed-suppressing foliage. An excellent foil from late summer to early autumn, an abundance of deep pink, saucer-shaped blooms are held above on short, wiry stems,an incredible contrast and a beautiful addition to any garden. Discovered growing as a seedling at Crug Farm in North Wales, Geranium endressi 'Dusky Crug' has caused quite a sensation. Geranium 'Dusky Crug' is a low-maintenance plant, requiring minimal care and attention. It is drought-tolerant and can thrive in both sunny and partially shaded areas. It is also resistant to most pests and diseases, and will thrive in both borders and containers, reaching a height of around 45cm, and spreading to 60cm. A hardy herbaceous perennial, which will tolerate temperature to as low as -15 C, it will become dormant over winter, ready to sprout again in the spring with renewed vigour.
