An exciting newcomer to the scabious range, Scabiosa 'Focal Scoop Lavender' offers larger blooms, up to 3.5cm across, specifically developed to supply the cut flower market. We can now offer you a range of these bigger, better blooms to grow in your own garden - either for picking or to fill your gravel gardens, beds and borders with their pastel mauve hues which are accented by tightly packed, lime green buds to the interior of each flower. Blooming from July to September, you will have up to 3 months of bountiful flowers with frilly, frothy outer petals and intriguing interiors. Loved by bees and other pollinators these really are a treat for the eyes.Plant Scabiosa 'Focal Scoop Lavender' in well-drained soil with full sun. A half-hardy, herbaceous perennial which reaches a height of 90cm and spreads up to 50cm. Protect plants from frost over winter, either by lifting or mulching.
