Tell Me More...
Penstemon Apple Blossom produces stems that hold clusters of small pink bell-shaped blooms with white throats above compact, tidy foliage - very closely resembling the shades of apple tree blossom.Penstemon, often known as 'Beard-tongues', are some of the most versatile, valued, and floriferous perennials you can grow in your garden. Great for cutting, they are also adored by bees, butterflies, and pollinators. A real must have for any garden, giving you colour for up to five months of the year, sometimes longer. You won't need to battle against slugs and snails either, as Penstemon 'Apple Blossom' will not be eaten by any garden pests. H: 80cm S: 60cmPrefers moist, well-drained soil full sun or part shade. A fully hardy (H4) semi-evergreen perennial. Leave foliage on plants over winter to protect new shoots which emerge early in the season. Prune plants back in spring to about 15cm above ground level.
