Tell Me More...
Beautiful African Lilies with striking, large, rounded clusters of trumpet-shaped flowers. Standing tall on strong, sturdy stems, Agapanthus make a dramatic statement when cut for your indoor flower displays, lasting up to two weeks in a vase.Your collection comprises; 'Black Pantha' - a semi-evergreen variety boasting intensely dark purple blooms for a large, globe-like flowerhead to a height of 70cm, spreading to around 45-60; 'Poppin Purple' - bred for better reblooming capabilities, globes are formed by burgundy-purple, trumpet-shaped blooms, height 60cm, spreading to 45cm; and 'Fireworks' - Chelsea Flower Show Plant of the Year in 2019, huge bi-coloured blooms with bright blue base and white tips, height and spread 50-60cm. Eye-catching when planted in groups, particularly when grown in containers as a feature on your patio or balcony and are happy in coastal areas with salty sea breezes. Given RHS hardiness ratings of H4 & H5, meaning protection may be required in the very coldest and wettest of winters, Agapanthus prefer to be grown in well-drained soil and full sun.
