Winter flowering Clematis cirrhosa Wisley Cream brings a stylish winter wonderland to your garden. Evergreen foliage provides the perfect foil for you to welcome a bright floral display at a notoriously sparse time of year. Usually flowering from January to March, in a mild winter the nodding blooms may even appear to give you extra Christmas cheer. Fabulous trained up a trellis, warm wall or obelisk, alternatively allow to scramble through large deciduous shrubs or trees for fairytale impact. Clematis cirrhosa Wisley Cream has been given the Award of Garden Merit by the Royal Horticultural Society for outstanding performance in the garden. Prefers to be grown in moist, well-drained soil in sun or part shade with roots in cool shade. Use pebbles or stone if there is no convenient shade from other plants. A hardy perennial down to around -10C - ideally with some shelter against a south facing wall or shrub, especially during exceptional periods of winter cold.
