Tell Me More...
Echinacea Fiery Meadow Mama will light up borders and containers and offer a treat for both pollinators and florists. Daisy like blooms with recurved petals are produced from June to August, often enduring into autumn. Blooms offer shades of gold and darken to auburn red as they near the prominent central cone. A beautiful temptress, the bright blooms give you an impressive display whilst happily enticing your butterflies. Florists love these blooms, designing vibrant arrangements to impress the recipientand of course your guests when they see the cut flowers in your home. These robust plants are happy in exposed coastal sites as well as borders, containers and wildlife gardens. An ideal inclusion in a prairie planting scheme, Echinacea Fiery Meadow Mama prefers a well-drained soil in a sunny spot yet will cope well with partial shade. Growing to a height and spread of around 45-60cm, plants are hardy, surviving UK winters with no protection needed throughout most of the UK.
