All three plants in the Triumphant Primulas Collection hold the RHS Award of Garden Merit for their outstanding and reliable performances. Furthermore, they will lend buttery tones to your planting and all will lend fruity fragrance throughout March to May. Triumphant Primulas Collection comprises: veris - also known as the common cowslip - semi-evergreen, flowers between March and May and has a fragrance reminiscent of apricots, spreads to 25cm; vulgaris - common primrose - herbaceous, flowers between March and May with a sweet, tangy scent and a spread of 20cm; and elatior - known as oxlip - a rare, natural hybrid, semi-evergreen, flowers in April and May with a spread of 45cm.All prefer moist, humus-rich, well-drained soil in partial shade and are hardy herbaceous perennials, with vulgaris being fully-hardy. Plants all reach a height of H: 30-45cm.
