From May through to September each year flowers are sure to enchant you with their bobbing, spherical heads with tiny, clusters of flowers. A much loved and enduringly popular flower for coastal, rockery and gravel gardens – or anywhere that can be prone to strong winds and blustery weather and needs an injection of floriferous colour. The are robust, tough little plants whose delicate beauty belies their outstanding resilience. Armeria pseudarmeria ‘Dreameria Daydream’ make a fabulous choice for a contemporary scheme as well as for lining a pathway or planting in a stone trough where they will shine like miniature alliums – adding shape and texture from the end of one frosty season to the beginning of the next providing you deadhead these colourful drumsticks monthly to ensure a continuance of blooms. Armeria pseudarmeria ‘Dreameria Daydream’ prefers a site which benefits from well-drained soil of any kind except heavy clay. Position in full sun with a south or west facing aspect. Plants are reliably drought tolerant once established and reach a height and spread of 30cm over 2-5 years.
