With a fruity, slightly spicy fragrance to match their fruity pastel hues Antirrhinum majus ‘DoubleShot™ Appleblossom’ is a tall, long-flowering beauty with flowers from June to September. Generous, double blooms are perfect for a container or the front of a border where they will grow up to around 50cm tall and spread as much as 40cm wide. Perfect as a cut flower, the strong stems are produced right through the growing season for plentiful supplies. Antirrhinum majus ‘DoubleShot™ Appleblossom’ is a perfect shade of pastel pink – with flowers accented by striking white throats, each with an unmissable splash of yellow. These pollinator-friendly flowers are sure to be visited by a succession of bees, butterflies and other busy, buzzing insects looking for sustenance – making your garden a hive of activity. Plant in rich, well-drained soil of any type except clay and ensure plants benefit from either full sun or partial shade. As a half-hardy annual your plant will die back once the cold weather arrives. However, seed can be collected in late summer or early autumn for propagation the following spring – assuring you of continuous blooms, for years to come.
