Anemone

History and Origin:

Anemone are part of the Ranunculaceae family consisting of approximately 200 species. Anemone derives from the Greek word of the same name and means ‘daughter of the wind’, hence the common name, ‘windflower’.

About:

Anemones are herbaceous perennials ranging in colour and size with varieties showcasing differing flowering times throughout the year. Anemone are best positioned in flower beds and borders, making the perfect addition as cut flowers within a vase.
