A stunning upright Japanese Anemone, Anemone hybrida ‘Royal Candy’ produces the most attractive and abundant, candy pink, double flowers from August to October. Loved by bees and other pollinators, Anemone hybrida ‘Royal Candy’ is the ideal variety for the back of a border or a container – where it adds colour and clarity with its characteristic dark green leaves. Perfect for cottage or modern gardening styles and adaptable enough to cope with tricky, coastal areas too. Anemone hybrida ‘Royal Candy’ is deer and rabbit resistant. Plants readily naturalise and are classed as hardy (H5 by the RHS) so should not need any additional winter protection throughout most of the UK. Anemone hybrida ‘Royal Candy’ prefers a spot in full sun or dappled shade with moist, well-drained soil. An herbaceous perennial which dies back over the colder months and re-emerges in spring. Matures to a height of 80cm and a spread of 40cm.
