Tell Me More...
Timeless and versatile, allium boast unique, globe-shaped flowerheads packed with tiny flowers and are perfect for both contemporary and traditional planting schemes. Providing a feast of nectar for passing bees and butterflies, you will get 4 months of enjoyment from this specially curated collection. The ‘Timeless Allium Collection’ comprises; 'caeruleum' – dazzling, round, mid-blue flowerheads on tall stems to 80cm; ‘Purple Sensation’ - long slender stems in late spring, which reach a height of 1m topped with vivid purple blooms; 'neapolitanum' – sweetly scented clusters of white, star-shaped blooms on short stems in May and June, height 45cm; ‘roseum’ – the ‘Rosy garlic’ is an Old World species of wild garlic boasting blush pink clusters on wiry stems to around 30-60cm tall; and 'sphaerocephalon' - the multi coloured finale with the flowers opening green and magically turning to deep purple over a period of time upon 60-90cm stems. Plant in swathes in your borders or prairie garden as well as in containers. These much-loved flowers will draw your eye as they dance around your garden. Fantastic as cut flowers, lasting well in a vase or as a dried arrangement, and so easy to grow - simply plant the bulbs where they get full sun in well-drained soil. Hardy bulbous perennials delivered in separate, carefully labelled bags of 10.
