In this collection you receive three outstanding varieties which are going to enhance your garden because they combine size, texture, and colour for a lush and alluring foliage display. Your three ferns are: Dryopteris erythrosora 'Compacta' - colourful, semi-evergreen fern which is adaptable enough to grow in almost any situation. Young fronds emerge in a coppery-pink colour and then mature to a vibrant green. It holds an RHS Award of Garden Merit - an accolade which confirms its outstanding performance in the garden. Height and spread 60-75cm. Dryopteris wallichiana is a woodland fern which also holds the prestigious Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit for outstanding garden performance. Often called Wallich's Wood Fern, it is a hardy semi-evergreen fern which boasts beautiful bright green fronds, black stems, and brown and black bristly hairs. Height and spread 90cm. Athyrium niponicum 'Metallicum' is a beautiful deciduous fern boasting attractive grey-green fronds with a silvery flush and intriguing red, central area and mid-rib. Pretty arching stems make lacy rosettes reaching 45cm high with a spread of 60cm.
