Pittosporum tenuifolium 'Penmarch' is a shrub which naturally forms a spherical shape as it grows. 'Penmarch' offers shape and texture to your garden and can be used as hedging or clipped into globes or shapes as you might with Box. This Pittosporum works well in virtually any garden design. This variety is mid-sized, compact, rounded, evergreen and produces grey-green leaves and small, purple-red flowers with a delicate scent in summer. Making Pittosporum tenuifolium 'Penmarch' an interesting plant to grow. Evergreen Pittosporum are hardy though may need some protection in the form of fleecing in the event of a very harsh winter. Plant Pittosporum tenuifolium 'Penmarch' in well-drained soil of any type and it will reach an eventual height of 2.5m and a spread of 1.5m.
