Paeonia lactiflora 'Coral Charm' is a must for borders and large containers. Forming an attractive mound of finely cut foliage from where its sweetly fragrant, semi-double blooms open salmon-pink in late spring, maturing to orange and then finally yellow. A colourful chameleon that must be seen to be believed. Exquisite cut for your home, with a long vase life, Peony are also one of the most popular flowers for wedding bouquets.Paeony were well known in ancient Chinese gardens and were brought to Europe in the late 1700s. In the language of flowers, they signify romance, elegance, honour and wealth. Paeonia lactiflora Coral Charm holds the Award of Garden Merit from the Royal Horticultural Society for outstanding performance in the garden.Plants prefer to be grown in moist, well-drained soil with either sun or partial shade. Paeonia lactiflora Coral Charm is an herbaceous, fully hardy perennial which reaches a height of 90cm and spreads to 85cm.
