Tell Me More...
An amazing new introduction from the renowned plant breeders Kerley & Co, Nemesia 'Melody Swansong' has been nominated for an award at the 2023 Gardeners World Live show.A profusion of crisp white, snapdragon like blooms, each with golden yellow eye are held on stalks almost covering the neat mounds of green foliage beneath. Clouds of sweet perfume are released, to waft around your garden and attract passing bees and other pollinators in for a closer look. One of the new 'Melody' range, which are winter hardy down to around -15 C and boast an exceptionally long and floriferous blooming period from March to October. These two new attributes combine to make this the most exciting development in nemesias for a long time.Ideal for growing at the front of a border or in containers, it prefers to be grown in moist but well-drained soil in a sunny or partially shaded area, where it will reach a height and spread of around 40cm.
