Garden Inspiration
Tell Me More...
An unusual and exciting summer bedding plant that is sure to catch the eye of your garden’s visitors. Nemesia ‘Melody Raspberry’ is also a great way to entice beneficial pollinators into your garden. Its scintillating, vanilla-scented, miniature, snapdragon-like flowers emerge with deeply alluring shades of reddish pink, accented by sunny yellow features. Dainty blooms appear in abundance from March to October each year and will add uplifting colour to your baskets, window boxes or borders. Nemesia ‘Melody Raspberry’ is a robust and radiant summer sizzler which can be left outdoors throughout the winter, providing it does not become too waterlogged, and will continue to bloom in years to come. Classified as a hardy (H5), evergreen perennial Nemesia ‘Melody Raspberry’ can even be used as groundcover, suppressing pesky weeds as it grows. Plant in well-drained soil of any kind except heavy clay. Position in full sun or partial shade with a south or west facing aspect. Plants will mature to a height and spread of 40cm.
