Tell Me More...
A joyous burst of colour, Dianthus Scent First ‘Pink Celebration’ is a radiant addition to any garden or floral display. These plants boast a profusion of delicate pink blooms with an exceptionally delightful fragrance which is hard to miss. Blooms are held in clusters on wiry stems just above attractive cushions of glaucous, evergreen foliage which offers attractive, weed-suppressing groundcover. Known commonly as an alpine, or garden pink, this variety flowers from May to September, with blooms loved by bees and other pollinators. Stems can also be cut to make a long-lasting, perfumed inclusion to small floral arrangements within your home. Heat and drought tolerant, Dianthus Scent First ‘Pink Celebration’ is a resilient, low-maintenance, hardy (H6) perennial which prefers to be grown in well-drained soil of any kind except heavy clay. Position in full sun with any aspect except north-facing. Plants will mature to reach a height and spread of around 30cm.
