Clematis texensis Gravetye Beauty is a very popular clematis and has been a trend setter for several years. The flower is trumpet shaped and deep red when you look at it. However, the reverse side of the flower is lighter with pink markings. This front-back two-toned effect is the first reason for its desirability.
