A perfect pair of spring and summer climbing shrubs. With blooms commencing in late spring and continuing through to the middle of summer Clematis montana Duo offers up to 3 months of floral blankets in pretty shades of pink and white. The twirling and twisting stems of both plants will reach for the skies and quickly enrobe pergolas or screen sheds as well as climb up into trees and scramble on trellis. Foliage lasts from March to October for valuable and versatile interest. Clematis montana Duo comprises AGM holder, var. grandiflora with its pretty white flowers from May to July (H: 12m S: 4m); var. rubens with its bronze-green foliage and pink blooms in May and June (H: 8m S: 2.5m). Both have a subtle and sumptuous, sweet, floral fragrance which creates a delicate, sophisticated ambience in the garden. Stems can also be cut for a vase and offer vital sustenance to bees and other pollinators. Plant in moist, well-drained soil of any kind as long as it is not too acidic. Position
