An impressive waterfall of rosy-pink passion for your baskets and containers to brighten up the patio or front door this year,Begonias are adored for their ruffled blousy blooms which can reach up to 10cm across - one flower can fill the palm of your hand. Incredibly vibrant salmon pink colour and very long flowering season from May to first frosts. Begonia Illumination series are some of the UK's most favourite container plant and there have been continually improvements from the growers on colour, more pendulous blooms, and even better weather resistance. These Begonias will withstand a wet summer, as masses of large, beautifully blousy blooms gently cascade down to around 40cm almost covering the bushy, green foliage. Begonia prefer to be grown in moist, well-drained soil in sun or part shade, reaching a height and spread of approximately 30-40cm. Being tuberous perennials, they can rot if they get too wet over winter, so can easily be lifted and kept dry and frost free over winter
