Tell Me More...
Viburnum tinus ‘Rock ‘n’ Rolla’ is a striking evergreen shrub known for its distinctive foliage and year-round interest. Boasting a fantastic display of young red foliage in spring, which matures to a glossy green. Clusters of bright pink buds are produced from December to April, each opening to display illuminating white, fragrant blooms which gather together into a large flowerhead. These blossoms give way to metallic, ornamental, blue-black berries in summer, which persist into autumn - adding another layer of visual appeal. Excellent for wildlife, the blooms and berries will attract bees, butterflies, and birds into your garden. Viburnum tinus ‘Rock ‘n’ Rolla’ is not only ornamental, it is also hardy (H5) to around -15°C and happy in any type of soil. Plant in sun or partial shade with any aspect other than north facing aspect. Reaches a mature height of around 1.2m, and spreads to around 70cm, it is perfect for both large and smaller gardens, borders, and container planting.
