Pelargonium ‘Mosquitaway Lizzy’ offers bi-coloured blooms in shades of white and rich, plum pink. Plants are similar in form to small Regal Pelargoniums with the addition of serrated and scented foliage – a perfect combination! Pelargonium ‘Mosquitaway Lizzy’ and friends have the bonus of citrus scented leaves which will deter mosquitoes (hence the name). Ideal for planting near an outside dining area or patio so that you can admire the details of the intricately patterned flowers and dine ‘al fresco’ without pesky insects spoiling the experience. Plants are bushy and compact growing to a height and spread of 30-40cm. The blooms appear in May and last through as far as October (dependent upon temperatures). Plant in a moist, well-drained soil which benefits from full sun or partial shade. As a tender perennial, Pelargonium ‘Mosquitaway Lizzy’ will need overwintering in a frost-free environment so you can enjoy it again the following year.
