Garden Inspiration
Tell Me More...
Celebrated for its luxurious, large, and fragrant blooms, Paeonia lactiflora ‘Bridal Shower’ is an elegant cultivar. The stunning, fully double flowers are pure white and often sought after as a long-lasting addition to bridal bouquets and garden displays. Each bloom measures approximately 15-18cm in diameter and offers a showy and romantic presence in any setting. Blooming in late spring to early summer, typically around May to June, the lush display can last for weeks. The dark green foliage complements the pristine white flowers and creates a striking contrast. Known for its longevity, Paeonia lactiflora ‘Bridal Shower’ often thrives in the same spot for many years, preferring to be grown in full sun to partial shade, in well-drained, fertile soil. It is relatively low maintenance, with a high resistance to pests and diseases. Mature plants will reach a height and spread of around 1m, making them ideal for borders and containers.
