Nicotiana sanderae 'Perfume White' is relatively new addition to the family of plants which has been popular for generations. The scent has been described as 'divine' and we at Hayloft would certainly agree. Nicotiana is a distant cousin of the indigenous American 'tobacco plant' and is often referred to by this name. The name originates from Jean Nicot, a French diplomat in the 1500's, who was convinced of the medicinal properties within the tobacco leaves and presented it to the French royalty as a remedy for headaches.
