‘Hypnotic Helleborus Collection’ encompasses all the beauty of frilly, fantastically marked double blooms from January to May. The perfect way to add colour to shady areas during the notoriously sparce part of the year. Generous double blooms hover above dark, leathery leaves - sure to delight all who happen to pass by, while providing a rich source of nectar for solitary bees, whose awakening from hibernation coincides neatly. Furthermore, these make excellent cut flowers – floating on a bowl of water as a table decoration or cut with long stems to join other blooms in a vase or bouquet. The ‘Hypnotic Helleborus Collection’ comprises; ‘Double Ellen Purple', 'Double Ellen Spotted' and 'Double Ellen White Spotted'. The ‘Hypnotic Helleborus Collection’ prefers moist, well-drained, humus rich soil. Plant in a north, west or east facing aspect, in partial to full shade and these fully hardy, semi-evergreen perennials will reach a height and spread of 35cm. Happy in containers and borders, they will gently naturalise once established.
