A generous, double-flowering variety with bright pink blooms from May to October each year. The foliage of Impatiens walleriana ‘Glimmer Double Hot Pink’ is first to emerge in March and will form a mound deeply veined, toothed, simple leaves. These are the perfect foil to the electrifying flowers above, which are akin to miniature roses in the way the petals swirl around one another forming neat, yet generous blooms. Plants are adaptable and will suit open ground, pots and hanging baskets – lending a sizzle of colour, with a magical hint of silver from the underside of each petal. This is a fantastic bloom for bees and other pollinators too – radiating a magnetic charm and acting as the bold stroke to paint your garden with brilliance. Plant Impatiens walleriana ‘Glimmer Double Hot Pink’ in moist, well-drained soil of any type which benefits from either full sun or partial shade, with any aspect other than north-facing. These are tender perennials which are most frequently grown as annuals. Plants will die back when the weather turns cold in autumn or winter unless lifted before temperatures drop below 5°C.
