Astrantia bavarica offers traditionally shaped Astrantia blooms in crisp white and zesty lime shades - beautifully accented by pale pink on the tips of the central flowers. A delightful and more unusual colourway from these cottage garden favourites. Flowers are produced from June to September each year and are ideal as cut flowers (either fresh or dried). A fabulous way to drawn pollinators and other wildlife into your garden, Astrantia bavarica will form mounds of lush green foliage from March to November for weed-suppressing groundcover. Happy planted in a container or herbaceous border - these attractive and dependable flowers hold the RHS Award of Garden Merit for their reliability and outstanding performance.Astrantia bavarica prefers a spot which benefits from moist, well-drained soil in full sun or part shade. A fully-hardy, herbaceous perennial which will reach a height of 90cm with a spread of 65cm and requires no winter protection.
