A cross between Amaryllis and Nerines, Amarine ‘Garden Angels’ will bring heavenly hues to your borders and containers. Bred specifically for the cut flower industry, the blooms are large and striking. Forming sprays, the wavy re-curved petals are held on leafless stems in late summer and into the autumn.
A favourite with florists, Amarine’s make an interesting and long-lasting addition to indoor floral arrangements and bouquets.
This collection comprises; Amarine belladiva ‘Emanuelle’ - boasts huge clusters of pale pink blooms from September to November; Amarine belladiva ‘Anastasia’ – bright, rosy pink blooms in autumn; and Amarine belladiva ‘Aphrodite’ bright pink blooms appear once the foliage has died back in September.
Hardy tuberous perennials to around -10°C, Amarine prefer to be grown in very well-drained soil in a sunny position. Reaching a height of 45-60cm, clumps of strap-shaped foliage will be formed, each spreading to around 30cm.
