With an abundance of pretty, open, bell-shaped blooms produced successionally from November to March, the ‘Vivacious Clematis cirrhosa Collection’ provides floriferous interest over five of the sparser months in your garden. The scrambling stems energetically clamber up trellis, trees and pergolas offering fantastic impact, whilst providing sustenance to pollinators and other wildlife. One variety, ‘Freckles’ also lends sweet, subtle perfume to fragrance the winter air, and the stems of all can be cut for floral displays indoors – bringing a brilliant way to add some sparkle! Your ‘Vivacious Clematis cirrhosa Collection’ comprises the AGM holding var. purpurascens ‘Freckles’ H: 4m S: 1m, new and exciting, creamy white flowering ‘Christmas Surprise’ H: 2.5m S: 1m; and another snowy white sensation with slightly reflexed petals, ‘Jingle Bells’ H: 4m S: 1.5m. All prefer a spot in moist, well-drained soil of any kind except acidic.
