Verbena hybrida Lanai Green AppleGiant, long-lasting green apple displaysVerbena hybrida 'Lanai Green Apple' are a relative of the award winning 'Lanai Up Peach'. 'Green Apple' takes the long-flowering and showstopping attributes with it along the way to create one of the best verbenas around. Look no further for continuing flowers that keep their dramatic colour, even in hottest spells of pure summer sun. Blooms produced in April and May are giant and impactful whilst having a subtle, pastel green-cream colour, which will last right up until the first appearance of frost. Verbena hybrida 'Lanai Green Apple' will spill over hanging basket and patio pot edges and its gorgeous, serrated foliage will lift and enhance the beautiful blooms even further.'Green Apple' also makes a great weed suppressant if planted in beds or borders where the ground cover tendencies will be on full show. Watch as bees and butterflies hover and dance around the blooms, pollinating from one to the next.Prefers to be planted in well-drained soil in sun or part shade. It is a tender annual, withstanding temperatures down to around 5 C. H: 25cm S: 30cm.
