A delightful collection, renowned for producing fascinating silvery marked, grey and green foliage as much as their forget-me-not like flowers,
Eye-catching carpets of weed-suppressing groundcover, Pulmonaria will happily grow in containers as well as rockeries and naturalise in situ once they are established.
This ‘Pretty Pulmonaria Collection’ comprises; ‘Diana Clare’ – clusters of striking violet-blue blooms are produced from February to May, height and spread 45cm; saccharata ‘Majeste’ – small sprays of bell-shaped blooms first emerge from March to May with pink petals, turning blue as they age, height 30cm, spread 45cm; and ‘Silver Bouquet’ – from February to May, bell-shaped pink flower turn blue as they mature, height 30cm and a spread 50cm.
Much loved by emerging solitary bees in spring, Pulmonaria are excellent as a cut flower for your home. Deer and rabbit resistant, preferring to be grown in moist soil in full or dappled shade, they are perfect for growing between shrubs. Pulmonaria are hardy perennials which can be left outside all year round.
