White flowers introduce a calm to your garden and glow in the late evening sunlight. When you grow Petunia ‘Double Tumbelina Diana’, be assured your summer baskets and containers are going to smell as good as they look. These petunias can be grown on their own as a specimen or mix with contrasting colours. Petunia ‘Double Tumbelina Diana’ is favoured for her large, double, crisp white frilled blooms. These blooms cover the bushy, trailing foliage from early summer until the first frosts. ‘Diana’ produces more than simple white flowers, when she blooms, she emits a divine scent. Plant in baskets, window boxes and in tall containers; where Diana effortlessly tumbles over the edges, creating clouds of sweet perfume around your garden. According to new age folklore, there is a belief Petunias will only thrive where there is optimistic energy and in the language of flowers, Petunias symbolise being comfortable with one another. Petunia ‘Double Tumbelina Diana’ has an exceptionally long flowering period reaching a height of 30cm and spread of approximately 30-40cm, whilst trailing up to 70cm. Preferring moist, well-drained soil, which is loam or sand based, in sun or partial shade, they are tender perennials which require protection from the cold during the winter.
