Tell Me More...
For a long-lasting display of frilly and frivolous pink blooms, look no further than the exuberant Petunia ‘Tumbelina Double Anna’, with hot-pink petals edged by a thick band of white these as sure to shine forth in baskets, containers and window boxes when they flower from June to October. The ‘Tumbelina Double Series’ of trailing petunias offers an abundance of large, double, sweetly scented flowers up to the first frosts of autumn. As a relatively compact petunia – mounds of foliage and flowers remain neat throughout the season and have been bred to withstand heavy rainfall without flowers being damaged. Petunias are, generally, tender (H2) perennials originating from South America and in frost-prone regions such as the UK are most often grown as annuals. Remember to deadhead regularly in order to prolong flowering. Petunia ‘Tumbelina Double Anna’ prefers a spot in well-drained soil which is either loam or sand based. Plant in full sun or partial shade with some shelter from strong winds and your drought tolerant plants will grow to a height and spread of 30-40cm with a fabulous trailing habit of up to 70cm.
