Tell Me More...
Nemesia ‘Karoo Soft Blue’ brings a classy flourish to summer pots with airy upright stems packed with soft, scented lavender-blue blooms. Impactful when planted ‘en masse’, and beautiful woven into a tapestry of colour and texture throughout borders and containers. Combine with Brachyscome, Verbena, Bacopa, or Osteospermums for a colourful and delicate display which will last all summer. Plant sweet-scented Nemesia ‘Karoo Soft Blue’ in fertile, well-drained soil which is loam or sand based and position in full sun or partial shade. Add a handful of slow-release fertiliser to your compost when planting and keep well-watered to ensure a prolific display of flowers from May to October. Plants will grow to a height and spread of 30cm. Nemesia ‘Karoo Soft Blue, also known as ‘Cape Snapdragons’ is half-hardy with an RHS hardiness rating of H3. Plants are most frequently grown as annual bedding plants in the UK. However, they can be overwintered in a frost-free place and reinvigorated the following spring.
