Small blue-grey fruits often follow to the delight of your local birds.Mahonia nitens 'Cabaret' has been given the Award of Garden Merit by the Royal Horticultural Society for outstanding performance in the garden.Mahonia nitens 'Cabaret' is not fussy about soil conditions and will grow well in a shady spot, and full or part sun, in well-drained fertile soil. Reaching a height of 1.5m and spreading to around 1m, she is a fully hardy perennial with an RHS rating of H4, and will not require any extra winter protection in most of the UK.
