Helleborus x hybridus 'Pretty Ellen Red' is a striking perennial that stands from the crowd. Producing vibrant, deep red flowers from late winter to early spring, it provides a bold splash of colour when most other plants are still dormant. The eye-catching flowers are characterized by their nodding, cup-shape and prominent yellow stamens. Perfect as cut flowers for a vase or bouquet - floating blooms make fabulous seasonal decorations for the table too. Happy grown in either a container, or border, plants will naturalise and are sought after by early pollinators as a valuable source of sustaining nectar.
