Helenium ‘Tie Dye’ is sure to delight every passer-by with its stunning daisy-like bicolour blooms. Masses of long-stemmed flowers to fill your borders with colour from early summer right through to the first frosts. The large, single blooms of golden-yellow and red are produced on the branching stems of this bushy, compact variety which grows to a maximum height of 90cm, with a spread of 50cm. Helenium are excellent as cut flowers for your home, lasting well in a vase, and plants are easy-going as well as very long flowering. A magnet for bees, butterflies and other pollinators, Helenium ‘Tie Dye’ prefers a sunny location with a moist, well-drained soil of any kind. Versatile enough for planting with grasses in a prairie garden, in a traditional cottage garden or for a more urban and formal design. Helenium are happy in containers and open ground where they create bold colour for months on end. Helenium ‘Tie Dye’ is a fully hardy, herbaceous perennial which does not need additional
