A new ensemble for 2024, this colourful and charismatic trio offers open, cup shaped blooms around 3cm across with deep, alluring interiors and darkly veined petals with paler accents. Foliage forms compact, verdant mounds from March through to November time and is functionally valuable as weed-suppressing groundcover. Leaves are rounded and deeply lobed with enchanting silvery undersides which glisten in the sunshine. Glistening Geranium cinereum ‘Jolly Jewel’ produces masses of the small, unmissable blooms in shades of pink, purple and coral, beginning in May and continuing through to September. The trio comprises ‘Purple’, ‘Salmon’ and ‘Silver’ with oodles of blooms, crossing three seasons for enduring interest and a colourful continuity throughout the year. Plants are ideal for the front of a border or an alpine garden, and are drought tolerant enough for a gravel garden, raised bed or container.
