The subtle silvery tints of this beauty sparkle along with the intensely coloured pink flowers, ensuring Geranium cinereum ‘Jolly Jewel Silver’ transforms your garden into a shining treasure trove. Bred by Dutch breeder, Marco van Noort, this compact new geranium creates weed-suppressing groundcover from March to November. Intricate flowers around 3cm across are produced from May well into the autumn, with masses of blooms covering dense mounds of dark grey-green foliage. Much like other hardy geranium this variety is slug and rabbit resistant, drought tolerant and has great resistance to wind and rain. Flowers are attractive to pollinators and an excellent source of nectar. Excellent for borders or special containers Geranium cinereum ‘Jolly Jewel Silver’ is drought tolerant once it has established a good root structure so will even settle in gravel gardens and rockeries. Geranium cinereum ‘Jolly Jewel Silver’ prefers a moist, well-drained soil of any kind except heavy clay. Position in full sun or partial shade and this hardy (H5) deciduous perennial will reach a height and spread of up to 30cm.
