Garden Inspiration
Tell Me More...
As its name implies, Geranium ‘Dolce Vita Anne’ certainly exemplifies pleasure and luxury with its large, delicately marked leaves (borne from March to November) and intensely coloured, delicately marked and generous blooms from May through to October. Flowers are generous, double blooms with hints of white to their centres which further amplifies the impact of the bright pink. Petals are velvety to touch and have a sumptuous impact. Geranium ‘Dolce Vita Anne’ is a ‘Zonale Geranium’, which is grown from cuttings rather than seed, and often called the ‘horseshoe geranium’ because of the shape of its leaves. These plants trace their origins back to southern Africa and the Cape Provinces and are drought tolerant once they have established a good root structure. Flowers are produced in abundance if deadheaded regularly. Plant in well-drained soil of any type except clay and offer a sunny or partially shaded spot
