Daisy-like blooms sway above feathery, deciduous foliage from the beginning of summer to early autumn. Each ruby-red flower is fringed in glowing white to provide a startling display of colour. These long-stalked blooms provide cut flowers for vases all summer. Your Coreopsis verticillate ‘Ruby Frost’ thrives in a border, patio container or rockery and will naturalise in your garden. Pollinators add interest when they visit your wildlife-resistant plant. A fully or partly sunny location with well-drained soil best suits your coreopsis. Coreopsis ‘Ruby Frost’ will reach a maximum height and spread of 50cm by 60cm. This half-hardy perennial is best treated as an annual in the UK, however container-grown plants can be over-wintered in a greenhouse or enclosed porch.
