Agastache

History and Origin:

Agastache is a genus from the Lamiaceae family, native to eastern Asia and northern America. The genus was first established in 1762 by Dutch botanist Jan Frederik Gronovius. The word ‘Agastache’ is derived from the Greek term to mean ‘many spikes’.

About:

Agastache are herbaceous perennials with often scented foliage and tubular flowers. They display prominent colour that flourishes throughout summer and early autumn. They are best suited to flower beds and borders.
