Clusters of rounded, generous, bell-shaped, pale blue flowers smother Campanula x haylodgensis from June through until August. Flowers are a magnet for bees and other pollinators whilst the low growing, 15cm tall perennial will spread out as much as 30cm to a neat, semi-evergreen mat of rounded to ovate, mid-green leaves. If permitted, both foliage and flowers will gently trail over the edge of pot, basket or wall for burgeoning impact and this variety also makes an excellent houseplant. A perfect way to add subtle colour and texture to walls, crevices, rockeries, containers or even the side of a path. Small, creeping plants such as this play a crucial role in the garden, softening hard lines and angles, and providing interest at a low level, often a main line of sight when walking around.
