Full Sun
A plant that is best positioned in full sunlight, generally means a site that has access to more than 6 hours of direct sunlight per day during the peak of summer.
Part Sun/Part Shade
Plants that are best suited to part shade will require a site that receives 3-6 hours of direct sunlight per day during the peak of summer.
Take care that exposure to sunlight does not exceed this timeframe as this may damage both the foliage and flowers.
Full Shade
Full shade is usually found within woodland areas or gardens with dense tree coverage.
