This is a relatively new Antirrhinum introduced last year. Antirrhinum majus Twinny Bronze Shades is one of the first dwarf, double flowered Snapdragon and produces prolific clusters of large, double blooms with frilled petals cover pretty foliage from June to October. Oblivious to heat or rain plants will flower for several months above the lush green foliage and are perfect for containers, the front of a sunny border and for a vase - where they will last for up to 10 days and share their sweet, subtle perfume. Entertainingly, the Latin name 'antirrhinum' means 'like a snout' and is believed to refer to the seedpod looking rather like a calf's snout!Antirrhinum majus Twinny Bronze Shades is an easy-going plant which prefers moist, well-drained soil in full sun. A half-hardy perennial which reaches a height of approximately 30cm with a spread 35cm. Protect from frost or collect seed to re-stock for the following season.
