The contrasting colours of this tender (H2) annual beauty are fantastic for adding an unusual, zesty interest. Zinnia are great for traditional cottage garden planting and the contrasting colours of this adaptable variety make it perfect for any number of planting styles, including those with a more modern, urban vibe. Even better, these blooms are much admired also for their longevity– both in the garden and in the vase. Zinnia elegans ‘Queen Lime Red’ will produce eye-catching blooms from June through to October for five months of colourful, pollinator-friendly flowers.Plants prefer a position in well-drained soil of any kind and will happily thrive in containers or open ground. Position in full sun with a south or west facing aspect for best results. Your tender annual will die back with the arrival of the first frosts and should be composted down afterwards. Reaches a mature height of up to 75cm, with a spread of 45cm.
